The Turnbull Studios Gallery shows the work of over twenty different “guest artists” in media ranging from glass to jewelry to oil paintings, watercolors and prints.

You'll find original paintings, jewelry, and ceramics made by the finest local artists on the island of Maui. We frequently have visiting artists working in the gallery. Patrons will have an opportunity to meet and see the artists in action.

Featured Artist:
Thomas Peters

Although self taught, Thomas has studied the Masters in great depth. He captures light and reflection in his settings, then translates them to board. His still lifes each have a story. Tom Paints on location at the gallery on Mondays and Thursdays after noon.

sunnydaykoi

"After the Rainfall, Emerging Falls"
12” X 16” $675
George Eguchi
George was born and raised on Oahu. His love of the islands expresses itself in his oil originals. He is an artist of contrasts; humble and reserved he has chosen a bold and direct painting style, using oils applied with a single palette knife. This painting, "After the Rainfall, Emerging Falls" was created with only 3 colors on his palette.
kennell
"Epitage III"
 9" x 12" giclee.  $375.00
kenkennel
Ken Kennel
Ken is a Pointillist, a style of painting built on the close juxtaposition of tiny points of intense pure-tone colors to produce a whole that is made up of it's vibratory parts. One of the most time consuming methods of painting known. His paintings are full of life, movement, and warmth.  Ken is currently creating a body of work that will go down in history, a series of the sacred Hawaiian Hula poses.
Ray and Diane Pizzo
Actually called "Glass Fusion", this technique is created by making each piece of the design individually and fusing it together in the kiln. Their colors are vibrant and the artwork showcases our most precious sea creatures and island floral. The glass is both utilitarian and decorative. Ray and Diane can be commissioned to create personal pieces as well; glass sinks, wall dividers, or whatever you can suggest.
