"Kulia i Ka Nu'u" means "strive to the highest". This piece was inspired by a woman finding strength in her inner beauty. Waking and stretching to the heavens. Finding her power from within. The bust went through several changes. She was a hula dancer and also a mermaid. Now she is what she is, an image of strength and power.
